Actuators are devices that is used for controlling or moving a system or mechanism. An actuator needs an energy source, which is usually hydraulic fluid pressure, electric current or pneumatic pressure, which works by converting energy into motion.

Different Types of Actuator:

Hydraulic Pneumatic Electric
Good at Handling Loads above 10 KW Fast Movement Between two points Simple, Low cost, Low noise, Energy Efficient
Requires: Valves, Pumps, Tanks, hoses and regulators Requires: Valves and Tubes and a compressor Less Suitebale for Heavy Loads
